At S.I. Goldman Company, Inc., we maintain a complete health and safety program to ensure a safe working environment for our employees. We conduct and employ continuous safety training and monitoring programs to assure a full awareness of safety issues, policies, and best practices by all employees. Our goal is to create an accident free environment through leadership, communication, and consistent awareness.
All of our employees receive OSHA 10 Hour safety training. All Manager and on-site supervisors receive OSHA 30 Hour safety training. Additionally, all employees are trained for site specific needs, including but not limited to fall protection, scissor lift training, fork lift training, proper use of PPE, confined space, lockout/tagout, ladder safety, trenching and excavation, silica prevention, HAZCOM/GHS and First aid/CPR.
Elements of our safety program include:
- A full-time safety director (OSHA 500 certified)
- Active safety committee
- Continuous site safety audits
- Training of all new and current employees
- Company provided PPE
- Continuous training and updates
